The Bible says they were naked and made the coverings of fig leaves. They were obviously ashamed and used whatever they could to cover themselves- their guilt and shame. I fail to see how that scripture refers to the fig leaves is something to beautify the body. They were shamed because of their nakedness.

But I have a question on your sermon on jewelry why should we sell the jewelry and use the money for anything church related, remember Abraham buried it another question aren't we now encouraging people to use it. You don't go out on the sabbath because of the distractions outside? I'm different from you. I don't go out on The Sabbath because of Exodus 16:28-29 28 And the Lord said to Moses, “How long will you refuse to keep my commandments and my laws? 29 See! The Lord has given you the Sabbath; therefore on the sixth day he gives you bread for two days. Remain each of you in his place; let no one go out of his place on the seventh day.”

WHY not mention Exodus 16:28-29 ?

The hijab covers the beauty of the hair neck and bosom. The loose clothing -for males too - covers the shape of the body. It is not right for the male/female to reveal their body in public. Covering is obedience to Allah, respect for other womens husbands/man, respect for what other women have with their husband/man and respect for themselves. In biblical times Christians dressed like muslims today. Why has that changed? Women have taught by the media that their worth is in their beauty. Women also know that they are a weakness to men and willfully entice them.

I was very stubborn wearing makeup and after many years been SDA I still didn't want to stop wearing makeup !! Until I prayed to The Lord and I asked him to guide me through his Holy Word if it was Okey for me to wear makeup!! Bro. & sis. I came across with the story of Jezabelle in 2 Kings 9:30-39 How she put makeup into her eyes when Jehu was coming!! Oh the Lord spoke to me right there !! What was really my real intention to wear makeup??? Try to catch men's attention when iam merry!! I was stubborn saying to myself: I need makeup because I want to look beautiful!!! That's Satan telling me that !! So I stopped wearing makeup to the glory of my Lord !! Dear ladies...you are beautiful with no makeup!!! It's a lie that you will look better with it !! Pray and listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit !! God bless you all
